Finance

This week, we did a cluster in Finance. My two careers that I choose for this cluster was a Financial Examiners, and a Credit Checker. Some similarities they have critical thinking, math, law and government, English language. Some differences they have are a Financial Examiner has to look through all of the regulations, and examine them. Also, they make about $78,000 annually. A credit checker investigates the history and credit standing of people or businesses. They also have to obtain information about the applicant's credit standing.  Credit Checker makes about $38,000 annually. These careers are not for me, nor is the cluster. In my opinion I think that it would be rather boring.

Government

The week we researched two careers in Government. My two careers I picked were a Mapping Technicians, and a Political Scientists. Some similarities they have are they have to do with the government, obviously. The Mapping Technicians have to calculate map making information from field note, and draw and verify accuracy of topographical maps. The Political Scientists study the origin, development, and operation of  political systems. May study topics, such as public opinion, political decision-making and Ideology. May analyze the structure and operation of governments. You need a lot of training for both jobs. Also, you need to know your geography, an active learner. Understand what you need to do, or what people are asking you to do. The money is quite different though, for a mapping technicians, you make about $50,000 annually, and for a Political Scientists you make $102,000 annually.

This week in Career Exploration we did two career clusters, Agriculture, Food and Resources. The second one was Education and training. Also, we went back to our true colors thing, and picked a career from our Opposite Career. Also, we have to pick some things about our true color that would help us with our opposite color.
